Is anybody racing in the Urban Assault Races (http://www.urbanassaultrace.com) coming up in Boulder and Denver? The race that just happened in Austin TX had over 1000 racers - the biggest adventure race in the country. Now the Urban Assault hits the streets of Colorado.

It's a bike scavenger hunt/adventure race where teams of two race their bikes to checkpoints around the city completing crazy challenges at each stop. We're talking adult big wheels, inflatable slip n slides, and wheelbarrow races. It's followed by a huge party with New Belgium beer and Rio Grande burritos.

The Denver race is followed by Rio Grande's Fiesta de Bicicleta (http://www.bikefiesta.com) - a free event with a cruiser ride, VeloMoto, road bike drag race, the SWOBO Alley Cat Race (you can win a Swobo Sanchez bike!) (http://www.bikefiesta.com/) a live band, and all sorts of beer and burritos.
