I just say something I do not think I have seen before while watching the TDF. They have all the climbs listed in feet/miles climbed as well as %. Not the actual height of the mountian. It really puts things in perspective. Thanks VS.
I just rode up Mt Rose in the Sierra Neveda's from the Reno side.. The pass goes over at 8250 feet with about 15 miles of climbing . It took me just under 2 hours. I am slow and old but it sure is fun to put my ride today in perspective of what these guys in the TDF are racing up.
