I went for wee ride on Saturday and I thought I might share some pics. For those who are familiar with the region, we started the ride from downtown Quebec City, took the ferry to the south shore of St. Lawrence River to Levis, rode south west to La Chaudiere falls, back to the north shore by the old Quebec Bridge and then east back to downtown. Around 45 km, not a great distance but a few hills.

From the ferry, still at dock.

This year is not that great weather-wise, usually around 22/24 degrees (Celsius, of course). Usually at this time of year, you can expect around 28/30 degrees with lots of humidity. The best time to ride is in September with temps around 20 and without the painful humidity...

Great city, if you're a cyclist and going for a visit don't leave your bike home. You'll be sorry if you do.
