Was watching Stage 10, and the T Mobile rider crashes hard on the turn. Then the camera zooms in, the rider is on the ground having just smashed against the wooden fence. Some guys rush to help him, and in the background you see two guys pick up the guys bike, and remove his bottles and run!

Thought I saw wrong but when they show him again, he is mounting his bike, and they are putting in new bottles! What's going on there?

Sometimes after a crash or flat, a rider will throw away the bottle so they are lighter until the catch the peloton, then get new...so not a big deal. But, if someone took it off his bike and ran, that would be funny. Something to watch for tonight!
