View Full Version : Garmin Forerunner 305 for $147 Brand New
strifez 07-17-2007, 01:03 PM Purchase the Forerunner 305 at Zappos.com: http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/24649609/c/104143.html
and pricematch it to Buydig.com: http://www.buydig.com/shop/product.aspx?sku=GRFR305
Total should be: $213.49 - 16.65 (10% of the difference) = $196.84
On top of that, there's a $50 rebate from PowerBar: http://www.powerbar.com/nirf/cm2/upload/DAF91EB5-A696-4635-AA2D-BB7600D008C9/GarminRebate.pdf
The rebate is legit as it's mentioned on the garmin website, so your total after everything should be $146.84.
Hope I'm not missing anything. This is the lowest I've seen. Good luck everyone.
coinstar2k 07-17-2007, 03:58 PM rebate is $75 on Edge 305, and you can get it for $299 at JR.com.
$225 is one heck of a deal on the edge 305.

colnago_ed 07-17-2007, 11:45 PM If I got it from ebay, am I be able to use the rebate also ? thanks
zooog 07-18-2007, 01:04 AM I doubt you can use the rebate from an ebay transaction.
Oldteen 07-18-2007, 07:11 AM Wallyworld has Edge 305 w/HR & cadence for $270 inc. shipping to your local WW store. Looks like PCnation deal is for 305 w/HR only.
FatTireFred 07-18-2007, 07:28 AM I doubt you can use the rebate from an ebay transaction.
you can if the seller is an auth dealer and gives you a retail sale receipt
ChilliConCarnage 07-18-2007, 08:15 AM I just got my refurbed Edge 305 on eBay for $229 - that included HR and CAD. It doesn't look like a refurb - it looks brand new. I hate rebates, so this was the best deal for me.
But if you didn't mind waiting for the rebate, and you wanted the HR and CAD units (and who wouldn't want them?) then Walmart.com would be the best deal by far.
Competitive pricing but most of all great service and support at Geoman (geomangear). He is often found at mtbr ansering questions. Too bad I bought an Edge 305 one week before the valid rebate date of 06/01. Oh well.

So they don't have authorized eBay dealers. But the rebate form only states you need an "original dated itemized receipt" (like previous poster said) and does not mention anything about buying from only authorized dealers.
Thanks for the info Strifez, you just saved me $75.00.
COMP-U-PLUS is selling the Garmin Edge 305 with heart rate monitor & speed cadence sensor for $249.05 + $16.25 shipping. Deduct the $75 rebate from Powerbar and you've got the whole package for $190.30.
simonton 08-03-2007, 10:39 AM Thanks so much strifez for the tips. With the $75 rebate I will net pay $134.17 for the Garmin Edge 305HR. Wow!!
