I've been looking for one of these items for a while. I hate stuffing all that stuff in my pockets, and my wife has an aversion to being my sherpa. I walked into Banana Republic and found what I thought was a manly looking messenger-type bag (shown here), but was advised by a gay friend that it "looked gay" and the fact that it was from BR made it "gayer". Needless to say, it stayed in the store.

I have thought about army surplus, and I still think that may be the best route.

Hot pants would mean that I have to shave my legs higher. No thanks. I think a murse is a nice alternative to a large bikers wallet with a chain. With a large enough murse and a permit, you could exercise your 2nd ammendment rights with something like a Desert Eagle 50 caliber pistol. Carrying a large caliber pistol in the Banana Republic bag would probably cancel out all the gayness of the bag. Anything to prevent catching gay. That would be a nightmare but probably present more opportunities to accessorize with a murse.
