Why is CSC registered as a team from Denmark. CSC is the sponsor and they are clearly an american company with corporate HQ in California!
Why would they want to be registered in Denmark (nothing against Denmark!)

are a collection of hundreds and sometimes thousands of legally seperate companies. Often they will set up a seperate company in each country they operate in. Each company operates with their own P&L statements, own operational structures and their own marketing and advertising budgets. Corportate headquarters may be in the US, but I am willing to bet there is a legally seperate company probably called CSC-Denmark located in Denmark.
Chances are that CSC-Denmark is footing a significant portion of the bill to sponsor the team with other CSC companies in Europe helping out and maybe a little financial support coming in from the US.

The team is owned by Riis Cycling, which is based in Denmark. CSC is just the title sponsor.
