I think she's just smarter than you and knows there are no grounds for impeachment.

1) but there are a number of Con senators that will choose the President over the Constitution

2) the Cons little deal with Clinton made impeachment forever look like partisan sniping in the public eye. I'm beginning to think it was in the grand scheme since all the key players from then (and Nixon) are all still calling the shots. If this is so, bravo, evil but very well played. Now when there are real reasons to impeach, the public just says "meh partisdan"

3) pelosi and co. have their eyes on 08, unfortunately I think their failure to act may cost them amongst their supporters

No, there isn't. Bill was involved in a criminal investigation that went nowhere and then got warped into a rehashing of his sexual misadventures. The impeachment was all about a perjury charge stemming from a lie he told while under oath because he was scared of his wife. There are no grounds to impeach Bush, hearings can be called simply because your political opponents are strong enough to do so, I refer you back to the Clinton hearings. If Nancy and her boys thought there was any traction here, they'd be on it. They'd rather attack a little Mexican lad of humble beginnings. Lots of fun here, referring to his resemblence to a mouse and such. Perhaps the grape pickers, gardners, diswashers and workers of similar circumstances will look at this when they vote in '08.
