Is there any more cruel of a place on planet Earth? I have heard of the violence and killing in Sierra Leone for many years, heard of genocide in Ivory Coast, and all the maiming and destruction of men, women, and children in Liberia. This is the same place in the world that once sold their own family and friends into slavery, to the West African slave traders, who brought them here to America. Oh how things have improved :rolleyes: .

Anyway, I would just like to lay it out there that I think this kind of cruely makes the war in Iraq seem humane, because at least the war in Iraq is closer to being an actual "War", with two opposing sides. This is in contrast to what is happening in this part of Africa, which is just government sanctioned genocide.

With that region's history of violence and suffering, it makes me question if there is a God at all, and why He would allow something like that to go on for hundreds, if not thousands, of years.
