I have to admit that I was impressed by Voeckler yesterday. I fully expected him to marshall his energy to hang on to the yellow as long as possible, instead, he gave it his all and did the Jersey proud. I would have never bet that he would have hung with the big boys but he was never out of the lead Peleton.

I'm sure by Sat he'll be out of yellow but in the meantime, he should be proud.
