In a few weeks, I'm headed to south central BC for a race weekend with the BC Master's Cycling Club. Sat. Crit and Sunday RR. We plan on making a mini-road trip/vacation of the drive, probably leave Wed. evening or Th. morn. from east of Portland and head diagonally across the state of Washington. End destination is New Denver, BC. (just north of Nelson, BC. above Spokane) Google says 7 hrs driving time.
I have missed this part of Canada and Washington in my travels. Anyone have any reccomendations? We'll be traveling in my "bike race rig" an old VW vanagon camper, so we are self-contained and plan on 'camping' and doing a few moderate tempo rides along the way.
