Gore?It's really hard for me to believe that things would actually be worse right now if the SC had elected Gore instead of W. Remotely possible, I suppose, but hard to believe.

I suppose it could be argued that Gore wouldn't have handled 9-11 any differently than Bush. We know that Clinton/Gore also had a hard-on for Saddam. But at least Gore didn't envision himself a character in a bad Hal Lindsey prophecy novel.
