levi had a problem with his bike in the alps. when he switched bikes, he needed a "saddle adjustment", which basically meant the tech held onto the bike for about a minute while the team car sped up and got him near the back of the peloton.

it wasn't really the penalty that cost him- it was the fact he got a broken rear DR which meant they had to give him an [ahem] "adjustment"- without it, LL would not be able to climb with the pack and probably lose way more then 10 secs on the climb being unable to have the pack to pace him and cover the surges....
