Hi everyone.I am getting a new bike soon but I am not sure which is a better bike overall, frame wise that is.Its between the Specialized Tarmac Expert and the Merida SCULTURA FLX 909-20 .Both bikes are carbon. Both bikes will be fitted with exactly the same parts. Dura Ace Groups and ksyrium es wheels.Price is not a factor. Opinions anyone?

1st- whichever fits better.
2nd- price
3rd- (well, maybe 2nd, depending) whichever has better warranty/customer service from the manufacturer at your local bike shop, just in case.

Specialized frames tend to have better finishes, cleaner joints, etc. I suspect that the frames in the bottom part of the QA window get called "Merida" Both are equally strong and straight, from what I've seen, although I've never owned either one. Seen plenty, built and unbuilt, but never owned one.
YMMV.

--ShannonHell, I think Merida owns Specialized.
I could not tell you as I have not seen one in person. A MTB pro ran one a few years ago and became WC on it.
