Hey guys, similar question to the thread about the brakes but different. I am building up my cyclocross biek this year and have a friend that will sell me his components for 500 dollars.
I will get
American classic 350 wheels
Full Dura Ace 10 speed group, new last summer ridden until october then put away
Thompson Elite Seatpost.
Sounds good enough for me but seeing what you think

Does it include headset, both derailleurs, brifters, cranks? Is the crank a double or triple? What do you think of the bars/stem? Are they going to fit you? Any scratches, bent parts? What about pedals? Is it 9 or 10 speed?

It is a complete dura ace 10 speed group, double , no pedals
bars, stem and headset are not included but not needed.
Everything is my size and in great condition, sounds good to me but i don't know if i am being naive.
Just a complete Dura Ace gruppo used for four-five months is a very good deal if it's all in good condition as you say. So the wheels and seatpost are gravy. Just make sure everything in the gruppo is what you want - double vs triple, chainring sizes, crankarm lenth and cassette range.

I would consider selling the American Classic wheels on ebay and purchasing a stronger set. I am thinking the gearing may be more towards a road setup rather than a cycle cross setup so you may be making changes there. It is a great deal so you can "sell off" and still come out ahead.

seems like a pretty good deal.
I agree with simonton, i wouldnt trust the american classic wheels for cyclocross.
