Yes we had our first race this weekend. Definatly eary in the year. 80 degrees is to hot for CX but damn was it fun. It was a good chance to try out new bikes and see how much more work you have to do before the season starts. It was a great course, wide open with plenty of passing room. I like single track sections but it's frustrating when you can't get around someone and the leaders are pulling away.
Ya know, you lay in bed and think about a CX race but it's only when your 20 miniutes in to one that you acually remember how much it can hurt. But damn dose it feel good.
