I've got the Cane Creek SCX-5's and and pads are worn and i need to get some new ones. Unfortunately, i don't have an LBS that carries these so i can't ask there. Which pads do i need to replace the ones i have? I was thinking they were the KoolStop V-Type brake inserts.

I replaced the pads on my SCX-5's with swisstop green pads and had a noticeable improvement in brake performance.

I ditched the Cane Creek pads and replaced them with Kool Stop Salmon Thinlines -- which your shop can get from Quality. The salmon pads are excellent, and the only way to go. They're also cheaper, I think, than Swisstop.
