View Full Version : Peeping Rider
slowrider 09-06-2007, 03:50 AM Is this is creepy? Last year at this time (Dark at 6am), I notice on my new commute that there was two houses, with lights on that I can see women from the road as I biked by their house. About 2 weeks ago, I saw one of the women topless by her window (Both are second floor windows). I told a co-worker, he said that his wife does the same thing in the morning by their bedroom window. The houses are at the half-way point of my commute. The flip side to this is I saw a fat guy walking out to get his newspaper in his small briefs. It is creepy to look. I'm torned. Not really.
cydswipe 09-06-2007, 05:50 AM I guess it's only creepy if you stop and watch or take pictures, otherwise, random commuting scenery. It's REALLY creepy if you debate about it on an internet forum. :)
Arrogant Roadie Prick 09-06-2007, 06:50 AM Cycle North Carolina a few years back there was a woman on the ride that was somewhat new to biking and this was her first real tour ride and was just thrilled to be riding with many like people. You could tell by the tone of her voice and such how happy she was to be out on this ride. The ride takes you through the back country of NC at times and you can run across just about anything. She saw a man sitting on his porch as she rode by. Naturally she was being polite and said " good moring, how are you today?" And he responded "well I'm just jerkin' off watching you go up and down on that bicycle!" and sure enough his pants were down around his ankles and well...... you get the picture. Kinda ruined the day for her.
slowrider 09-06-2007, 07:51 AM I agree that it is creepy to stop and look, or take pictures. I wrote about this because these threads need something different to talk about. I was just wondering if anybody else would take a look as they passed those 2 houses. I have the most boring commute except for that half mile section of road.
tarwheel2 09-06-2007, 10:44 AM This thread needs some photos so we can see what you're talking about. I'm having trouble picturing it in my mind.
Dave Hickey 09-06-2007, 10:46 AM me too...a picture is worth a thousand words.... :-)
Sledgehammer03 09-06-2007, 11:08 AM I would probably double back, just to make sure it wasn't some trick my eyes were playing in the dark.
comuter 09-06-2007, 02:15 PM I say ride by at a casual pace and look all you want, just don't get so distracted you crash into the mail box or something... That would be bad.
But yes, no pictures, stopping, or calling and breathing heavy at night all of those things would be creepy.

You chose your forum name before this started, right?
Dr. Placebo 09-06-2007, 09:52 PM It would just be funny if you wrecked because of this and the person in question heard/saw you...not that it's funny if you wreck or anything...um...:mad2:
bigbill 09-06-2007, 10:33 PM I posted about stuff I saw on my daily commute in Hawaii. I arrived at work before dawn, so the stuff I saw was pretty interesting. The ones that stand out are,
1. The naked stoned woman walking on the MUT. (no pictures)
2. Three different crystal meth labs, the smell follows you to work.
3. The fish.
4. Homeless in the park sleeping on the MUT.
5. The tarp suspended over the MUT that the headlight didn't illuminate.
6. Various assorted crimes in progress.
7. The hooker that worked out of a van near Pearl City and Lehua.
8. Hundreds of cats in Blaisdale park.
9. Mongoose that scare the crap out of you.
10.Joggers wearing all black.

What is the address? :D
Durandal 09-09-2007, 03:37 PM Once saw an old guy with a two keg gut watering his lawn in just boxers. Creepy no matter what.
+2 on doubling back to make sure that it wasn't just a trick of the light.
