I have a Mystery Frame. It is from the late 70's - early 80's, I think. It has an engraving on the seat stay of an "R" in a stylized script. I think it is the only marking. It seems a good frame. It has Columbus tubing, nice work on lugs etc., Campy dropouts, and excellent feel and balance. It is all C-Record with one interesting exception - a Zeus 2000 chain wheel and crank set. I would sure like to know who made the frame! Thanks for any help.

A picture would really help but here goes....My first guess would be Rossin but after a bit of searching it appears that they usually had the whole word "Rossin" on the seat stay. Here's a picture of their stylized "R" in case yours is a model I couldn't find a picture of. Good luck!

That's a tough one. Do you know it the bottom bracket is Italian or English threaded?

You are a genious! The Razesa answer also makes other things clear, like the Zeus crankset. Thanks!

Very nice indeed. Silver with yellow accents is a surprisingly good looking combination.

Thanks for the comment. Success is probably because it is so sparing. Just the "R" mongram and a triangle inside chrome.
