This is the new love of my life. It is a truly gorgeous ride, and I think the new graphics look pretty cool too.

(sorry about the sh***y quality photos - cameraphone!)

Congrats on a nice looking bike! But PLEASE get rid of that pump!! Store in in your jersey! It RUINS the look of that bike.

with the saddle at that angle, I can see why you call it 'the love of your life'........

Nice bike, I especially like the handlebar set-up. Looks well-constructed and has a snazzy color scheme.

+ 1 on the pump. Holy big chunk of .... on a top tube BATMAN. Great looking bike otherwise.

he he. I think the crappy wide angle lens has distorted the perspective. It's actually flat.

um..yes...agree. Only attached the pump the other day as it falls out of jersey pockets really easily.

It's gone!

Nice bike!

Mount the pump on the seat tube with one of those pump brackets that uses the water bottle bosses and is offset to the non-drive side of the seat tube. It doesn't stick out like a sore thumb that way, and the offset brackets are cheap (less than $2.00).

Good looking bike, but the seat bag looks a little "saggy". If you got to have a seat bag on that beautiful frame, then get a micro bag that tucks up under the saddle and out of sight.

I got this one for $9 from Performance.

cool! thanks for the advice. It's certainly a bit of a pain having my pump in my jersey pocket.

toss pump in trash and buy an instaflate co2 to put in the new seat bag that your lbs will have.

[QUOTE=Kestreljr]Good looking bike, but the seat bag. . .

not trying to highjack the thread (really), but what ever happened to the soft, fold up and strap flush to the seat rails saddle bags of yesteryear. I hate all these newfangled bags --whether big or small--that have a stiff, preformed shell. sure, you don't have to take the bag off the bike to get at the guts, but IMO you don't want to have to get at the guts unless absolutely necessary (roadside flat or mechanical). more importance stuff (food phone cash) goes in jersey pockets. sorry. . .thanks for your tolerance.

right! Thanks guys. Pump is off the bike and in my jersey! Saddle bag is useful though for my phone and tyre levers and stuff. I don't want everything in my jersey.

God it's a fabulous bike though, I can't keep off it for a moment!

It looks like the seat bag may not be installed properly. Most bags the straps go over the seat rails and then around the bag. In the picture it looks like he has the straps wrapped around the seat rails only.

Do whatever you want with the seat bag and pump. Put it on the bike if its more comfortable. As beautiful as bikes can be they are also tools.

Just have fun and congrats!

Very nice. I love my 04 Comp, so I almost know how you feel. :D

I'm running 26 mm Paselas (622x28) tires on it, and man is it smooth. They don't seem to slow it down that I can tell, but then again I'm not after the last 0.1 mph.

Very nice. Are the wheels also Ultegra SL or just regular Ultegra? How are you finding them?

Yeah, great looking bike. Enjoy.

The wheels are Ultegra SL and seem fine. Although I may treat myself to some Ksyruium SLs for special occasions.

The only problem I have had so far is with the seatpost. The saddle keeps tilting backwards, no matter how much I tighten the bolt. Damned annoying on a long ride.

Brilliant bike, I like the look of the Ultegra SL bits on it. As for the great pump/saddle bag debate- here is my hubble opinion.- I like the Fizik saddles with the ICS system. The saddle has a small port on the back of it where the saddle bag clips into the saddle(no straps). You can view these on the Fizik website...I like the small co2 pumps with a 16gram bottle to get the pressure up-these will fit into the bag with levers, tube, cell phone and multi tool. Enjoy your new bike!

I hear the 2008 has a very mushy ride quality about it. Any truth to this statement?
