Tough because the weather was so nice and the views so great it was hard to put the camera away and go to work.

Turns out the ducks think you are going to feed them. They were quite insistant, I just about had to kick them to get them to quit biting my ankles.

BTW1 Notice the shadow of the Washington Monument moving across the Lincoln Memorial in the last few images. I have always thought the thing would make the BEST sundial.

BTW2 for "Foursquare" can I sub "Four Score"?

The weather has been bloody gorgeous around DC this week. Hints of Fall in the mornings, and warm, sunny, low humidity evenings...

Had a quick business trip into Crystal City and had dinner with my sister and brother-in-law in Springfield. Fantastic to see the monuments clear of tourists. Fall - my favorite time of year back east.
