Exhibit #1. Sherri Shepherd on the View, who apparently never thought about whether the world is round or flat.

War on terror?

How about a war on goddamn stupidity? Granted, FoxNews watchers, that would leave you without your intellectual compass, but don't worry, American Idol is pretty far down the list, so you can still rely on that for awhile.

Amazing...the stupidity and willful ignorance of people never ceases to amaze me.

I LOVE this exchange:

SHEPHERD: I… I never thought about it, Whoopi. Is the world flat? I never thought about it.

BARBARA WALTERS: You’ve never thought about whether the world was round or flat?

SHEPHERD: I tell you what I’ve thought about. How I’m going to feed my child–

WALTERS: Well you can do both.

See, that's the problem. It's just a multitasking issue.

I bet she knows her Bible in and out though.

The View is entertainment, it is not "The Media." That you are watching it for your information explains a lot. :)

I bet she knows her Bible in and out though.

Interestingly, the bible says nothing about the world being round or flat, but it does tell you how to feed a child. The problem is that eventually the child will get really sick of loaves and fishes.

Give her a break folks...after all I learned that the world was round when I was five...so all thing being equal, that is when she dropped out of school and bore her first piece of crotchfruit. Dems mean streets for a five year old with a child, trying to remember to take your flintstones chewable while simultaneously trying to figure out how not to share the last fruit rollup with your child.

We should all wish her the best, imagine the awkwardness of not being old enough to use the stove when you have to heat up similac.

If the Earth was round, we would start falling off near the edge. If it is flat, then we would only fall off at the edge. A flat Earth is much safer. They should put up a fence to keep children from accidently falling off.

Personally, I think it should be at least cylindrical. A flat earth would be really thin, and kids could dig a hole and fall out the bottom.

It's flat, nobody said it was thin. :)

The View is entertainment...

The View is 'entertainment?' Isn't that an oxymoron? Sort of like "FoxNews."

I knew your perspective was skewed, I just didn't know by how much. :)

Well you go admitting facts based on empirical observation, logic, and the scientific method are true you know where you end up?

Admitting stuff like evolution is valid. Can't have "faith" in the process that leads to those sorts of things, better off having faith in pie-in-the-sky nonsense.
