I've been researching titanium frames and the top two on my list were seven and titus, Willow Glen happened to be a distributor of both, and I just happened to be in the area.

After finding my way into this little shop, with the troubling driveway (not friendly to low cars), and busy streets it's probably the smallest shop I've ever walked into however before I was able to check out the elium on their showroom floor I was greeted by Dick. He went through the usual 'how may we help you, etc' dialog then as soon as he found out I was looking for a Titus road bike he offered up his opinion on the matter. Titus for Mtn and Seven for Road...I'm not sure if I'm going with a Titanium frame, but he's got me sold on Seven if I do after my short visit to his shop. He spent the time and shared his knowledge with me about both Titus and Seven, the strengths of both and how they differ.

He also has a good selection of higher end parts. I have two thumbs up, and would give three more if I had them.

I agree, it's a great shop. Great staff, well-stocked, and really solid brands.

FYI, you may want to drop into Crossroads in Los Gatos as well. They are also very knowledgeable, and sell both Seven and Independent Fabrication, both highly-regarded Ti frame builders. I would ask them which of those they personally ride, and why. They're the second shop I've been to (in two major metro areas) that sell both and have consistent answers to that question.

That is a very old shop. Been there since the 70's. Must be new owner...
