Last weekend I finally pulled the Aprisa 4500 (60cm frame) out of the box and completed the assembly. Along the way, I took many photos as I wanted to document for others what you get, what you should expect and how great the bike looks.
Jack, you really need to find some way to improve your web site photography so the bikes look as good on your site as they do in person. I was very pleasantly surprised how nice it looked and it far exceeded my expectations.
I am not able to add captions inline, so below is a summary of captions for the images. Hope this helps and let me know if anyone has any questions!
IMAGES:
1-4: here is what the box looks like and hat the bike looks like when you pull it out. Seat, handlebars, stem, front wheel and front brake are the items that remain to be installed.
5-7: this shows the bike mounted on our bike carrier for assembly, all the parts and tools in the foreground, and a closeup of the trick little ibex branded allen tool that comes with it.
8: Stem is on
9: Bars and front wheel are on
10-11: Images of the "race engineered geometry" lettering on the left side. I love this and its not shown on the ibex site. very cool.
12-16: Its complete...what a great looking bike! In person, there is a black outline to the lettering that looks very nice -- I've not done a good job documenting that here. jack, perhaps that outline should be just a little wider/bolder as it really sets off the other black finishes on the bikes.
That's it. I'm still shaking it down and adjusting derailleurs, etc., but the bike is exactly as described on the Ibex site and then some. You won't be disappointed buying one of these. It is performing very well and is quite a lot faster than my MTB.
