If Landis is first with only Armstrong on the road today? He'd be gifting the stage to Landis (assuming he could win if he wanted). Thoughts?

Lance should ride the time trial at full speed. Gifting a time trial would not be the same as letting the guy who helped pull you up a mountain pull around you for a stage win. I don't think Floyd could beat Ullrich anyway so Lance should go for his 5th stage win.

USPS is not in any labour union, nor is any other cycling team. Armstrong is paid to do the best job he can, as are all the other cyclists. It is up to the team owners/directors to tell him what job they ( the cyclists) need to do with one of the team winning the stage. I'm sure if Floyd was still in the lead after all but LA came across the line LA would have sat up to give him the win. That was not the case, so you know what happened.
