Now I am not working away all the time I have a chance to get fit again.
Plan is to get in shape for some TT's next spring-summer but I am not in a mad rush.
I am starting out from a poor but not total zero fitness level. I can get on a bike and spin 100k no problem. Weekend before last I did 104 k with 1050 m of climbing, but I am realistic...I have a poor level of base.
So I have my commute sorted out now, which I plan to do 4 days a week. It is 24k each way but with ~280 m of climbing each way also, it is not easy, I had an extra day of this week because I felt tired...I think this is the way to go, just see how I feel....
At weekend I will do ~80k or so Sat and Sun, maybe longer ride on Sat and 2 hour spin on Sun or so...all solo, don't know any groups here yet, and I want to avoid any intense stuff.
So I figure at least 3 more months or so before even thinking about doing tempo or sub threshold work?
Another thing, I am going to use a SS on my weekly commutes. Bad idea with the climbing?
