I seem to have a problem with the canti brakes on my spec. tricross. The dish of the rear wheel looks to be good, but in order to get enough clearance between the pad and the rim the canti arms have to be skewed toward the drive side of the bike. When I measure the distance from the rim braking surface to the inside part of the carbon fiber rear seatstay I get 14mm on the left and 10mm on the right. I always thought that the canti arms should both be vertical up/down when they contact the rim surface. I am being too anal here.

Something is off. Try loosening the skewer, putting your weight on the saddle straight down, then tightening the skewer. Does the rear wheel center better with regards to the brakes? If not then pull the rear wheel and mount it backwards to see if the problem moves over the other way. If so then the wheel's dish is the problem. If not then it's a frame alignment issue.
