Ever go back to your road bike after weeks of nothing but riding your CX? I did my first road ride after 3 weeks of nothing but CX. Talk about a weird feeling. My road bike is a couple of lbs lighter and of course has thinner tires. I actually found myself a lot more comfortable with my bike handling. CX is a great "off season" for roadies. Don't worry, I know I'm going to be bummed when CX ends in December!

You can still ride you cx bike past the end of cross season. it doesn't have to be just for off season training. :)
