Just bought it on E-bay. 853 main triangle, carbon seat and chain stays. Red. Anybody know anything about it? My impulse buys seldom end well, so I'm ready for the truth.

I have one and it rides really nice. The bike rides great up to about 30 mph and above that it develops a shimmy and I have had the "death wobble" twice on it at 40 mph+. I am not real sure what causes it, whether it's the frame, fork, wheels or a combo of all? I have never had this on any of my other bikes. I would be curious if you get it with your or it is just my frame? I am buying a custom Curtlo as a replacement. Good luck.

Off to a good start, again. Any spontaneous combustion stories I should hear? The Jamis was a bike I saw in a store window years ago and could not afford. It seemed light, and the 853/carbon design was appealing.
