There is a big difference between a parody and holding a storm trooper up as an example of sweet humor.

Ugh. Either my sense of humor is broken today or I have a different perspective on life than most people. Maybe it's because I spent many years as a reenactor of first the US civil war and then WWII (federal and US, respectively). Doing the research to portray those men as accurately as possible helps you to realize that there are good human beings on both sides of any large war. I felt that this picture embodied that spirit and also had a touch of irony added in. And while the picture is too grainy to really tell, it's more likely that this guy was a typical infantry soldier than a "storm trooper" as MB1 suggests.
