I have an '06 Lemond Alp D Huez with only about 500 miles on it (lots of traveling this past year). I am 6'5" and the bike is a 61cm....it is end of year (good bike prices) and the '07 Lemond Versailles looks real nice to me. Is it worth it to basically go from the exact same al/carbon frame to a full carbon frame? I bet I could get the $2100 Versailled down to about $1700 if I can find a 61cm '07 in stock. I ride 20-30 miles 2-3 times a week and would like to get into some longer group rides. Any have the '07 Versailles and what do they think? I believe the geometry between the '06 Alp and '07 Versailles is identical (which is a good thing)....
