Hi All,
this is my first post!

i wld like to seek your opinions, especially Peg owners on 8:30am and Love #3, especially the former. i am looking to buy one but Love is on a long wait list now, where as 8:30 is available in my frame size, 52.

I am inclined on a 8:30 now but i do not want to regret not getting a Love becos of the (perceived) gulf in ride experiences between the 2 models.

I read a fair bit on Love and how great it is, but find little user experience reviews/comments on the 8:30. Peg experts and owners, can you pls share your experiences and guide me along?

I am a relative newbie in biking, currently a social rider, ride mainly for fitness and love of riding. I averages about 3 rides per week, about 50-60km per ride. i ride both solo and wif my bikie frens. my current ride is a bianchi megapro-xl, 53". i hope to retire this bianchi in good condition since it is a pantani replica.

thnx in advance!

I have a Big Leg Emma and a Fina Estampa. The Fina was replaced by the Love#3 which is a completely different bike. The 8:30 is basically the same as a Fina but uses a slightly heavier tubeset. The difference was around 200 grams and $500 retail. The 8:30 is marketed as a "do everything" frame and based on my experience with my Fina, I bet it does. Both of the frames you are considering are racing frames so they will be very stiff and have somewhat sensitive steering.

If you are looking for advice, based on your riding and frame size, I think that either frame would beat you up a little. I recommend one of their steel models. If you are only considering the Love or 8:30, I would choose the 8:30 since the bang for the buck is better and you can spend the difference in component upgrades or a nice set of wheels.

is Scandium which I have found is a little more pleasant of a ride than standard 7000 series Alu

thanks, bigbill for your advise.
i was also told to consider a steel, like Marcelo. have a couple of frens in my grp riding a Marc now and they ride effortlessly from what i see. for a Marc, the wait time for the order is a deterence.
i will take your advice n probably place an order for a 8:30.

Please take this as a question and a question only. Are you foreign or do you do a lot of texting?
