Could this be possible? I have friends (Republicans, Dems, and Independents) who are fed up with both sides. Look at congress and the Bush approval rating. The corporate media are pushing Hiliary and Rudy down our throats like they are a lock. Everyone I know, do not want either!
For a 3rd party to be possible, the other two party's would have to abandon the people.
WHAT DO YOU THINK?

All Gore can do by running as an Indy is become next year's Ross Perot. Clinton was never able to pull a majority. His only hope was splitting the Republican vote, which he did with the aid of a man (Ross) who became quite rich with Democratic help.
If Gore runs be splits the Democratic vote- Republicans win, no question. I don't oppose third part politics- would probably be a good idea, but everyone from Teddy Roosevelt on down who has tried to start at the top has failed. The only way I see it working is with real party machinery starting at the bottom- local elections, then state elections, then national elections. It's a 20 year process and even politicians want a 22 minute sitcom solution.
