Killer stuff man. Are you able to squeeze in some racing for yourself or are you too busy shooting everything? It's too bad you're not here in Portland...I'd love to have some nice race photos of myself.

It was nice course. Too bad you missed it. Did you race Tacchino?

I do get time to race, I race the Master B's. But since I am photographing the earlier races my warm-up pretty much is non existant. I end up shooting about 1/2 of the prior race, get kitted up and take a quick spin and get to the line. No biggie for me since I am pretty much racing for fun and any podium is out of the question. Plus my training this time of year is almost nill - usually riding about 2 hours a week of casual riding right now. Even so I am still keeping myself just outside of the Top 10 in each race, usually finishing around 12-13-14th place.

That was me - wearing the blue Henry's jacket and hobbling around like a cripple. I threw out my back a bit during my race with two laps to go. Luckly I was able to hold off my chasers - finished 14th on the day. Right after my race my back started to completely lock up, but I was still able to keep shooting pictures - just had to move slowly. By the time I got home I was unable to stand and even today I am pretty messed up. So, I think my race season is now over, but I'll be at Beacon taking pictures.

Nope. Work, daughter's soccer game. Not enough time.

Great pics, you got a few good pictures of me and my team-mate in the Men's C race. We were the Keswick guys in orange, black, and white. Good thing you didn't get any pictures of me bouncing off the barrel after the barriers or nearly loosing it just after the second horse pit...I'll be at Beacon kitted up in my collegiate kit.
