I've also heard of using an integrated fork on non integrated frames anyway. It just looks funny sometimes. roadfix 11-20-2007, 04:23 PM An integrated fork will work with a non-integrated frame using a standard headset. You may even like the way they mate together (aesthetically) as the large flat shoulder of the fork crown mounts flush with the lower headset cup. :) TurboTurtle 11-20-2007, 04:31 PM First sorry with my english. In the specifications of a new fork said is integrated design, but will work on Integrated or Non integrated frames. Can I used this fork in standard frame? Functionally, they are the same. The integrated fork is wider at the crown to better match the thicker top tube of that design. In the pic, note how the fork flares at the top to match the thickness of the integrated head tube. If it was used on a thinner, non-integrated head tube, there may be a visible ledge at the top of the crown.
