Is anyone using White Industries cranks on a fixed road or track bike? I'm thinking about getting some, but I'm worried they'll be super wide, which I don't want. I know there's a road version too, but how narrow are the mountain version when set up for a normal 42ish mm chainline? Also, what BB are you using?

They ain't super wide. I wouldn't even call them wide.

I measured mine. Q-factor seems to be approx. 31mm + chainline.

have you thought about trying the white ind road crank? I'm pretty sure the site says they can be used as fixed/ss cranks w/o the inner ring.

Could someone please tell me what Q factor means? I must admit I have no clue what this means despite being a huge White Industries fan.
