im looking for a good first bike in the $1400 range. of the few places ive looked, the ibex aprisa team pro seems like an awesome deal.
alum/carbon frame
carbon fork
ultegra/dura ace drive
ritchey wcs
ritchey wheels
plus the color scheme looks really cool.
i cant find another bike with these parts in the same price range. am i just not looking hard enough? is there something on this bike that could be better for the price (wheels??)?

what other bikes should i look at in this price range?

anyone out there with ibex stories to tell? there arent many reviews. they claim 18.5 lbs. is this a good weight for a racer? is there a difference between forks which are slightly curved forward vs. forks like on treks which are more straight?

i would really appreciate this, or any other info. thnx a lot.
