cyclingnews.com had pictures of mock-ups of what the bikes will look like.

I don't think the color schemes of the bikes are that nice though.

But, yep, they're sticking with Felt.

Must not have been looking too hard.

I think I was using the wrong internets...

The looks isn't that bad...but I would have favored more Chipotle inspired colors...something of the darks reds and earth tones...

....but Slipstream's colors are orange and blue. Why would they make the bike red and brown?

Good point...I'm out of my element here...like a little child who wanders in in the middle of a story...no frame of reference...

Yes, but a smart child... The Chipotle backing leads one to expect earthtones, but no, it's powder blue, orange, and white. I wonder if the new H3O sponsorship will bring new colors. I'm torn, personally. I like Slipstream's kit but I think it could be better, keeping the same theme.

Game over dudes. The kit is done. Its still orange and blue even with new sponsors.

Hey, I think you can like whatever you like. I don't think there's any issue with you thinking you would have liked Chipotle colors.

I for one like the new kit design. I have great hopes for the message this team can send, so I was interested in what the new kit would look like.

I'm hoping the bike looks better when on an actual bike. Looks a little funny in the drawing of it, IMO.

Magnus said the F1 was a little too flexible for him so I guess we will see and new F1 similiar to Boonens Tarmac SL2

Negative. He'll be on the Z1, which is plenty stiff for him.

I hate Felt bikes, if just because they seem like another frame made in Taiwan. I'm sure the quality is good, but there is no panache with those bikes.

Jim Felt made one critical marketing error when rolling out his bikes to the mass market.

He should have named them Fellatta instead of Felt. Not many people in the roadbiking market place no his reputation for his aero bikes or his knowledge base in carbon fiber fabrication.

Jim would have been much better served to add an "a" at the end of his name to give it some "panache"

What is it about Slipstream and Argyle -- what's the reason for the team's devotion to that particular fashion statement?

I think I remember reading interviews with Vaughters and he called the design "fresh" and wanted to make a statement. Funny thing is I remember just a few years ago the Trek Mtn bike team had argyle kits. See the photo. Not so fresh is it.

That is funny, because I see Felt as a sort of dark horse, start-up company that is racing centered with a performance bike that competes with the best at a 1/3 the cost. I am becoming more bitter towards the cervelo/colnago side of things that tries to preach to me in their marketing that they are a step above for some intangible reason (and their frames are made in Asia as well).
