I am looking for brake hoods for Shimano 600 BL-6209 levers. These are first generation aero levers from the mid 80s. I have done a search and come up with the following possible sources:
yellowjersey.org
AE Bike
The Third Hand / Loose Screws
Any other suggestions? Thank you in advance for your help.

Good luck....I'd set up a daily eBay search for them...They show up occasionally..

Will these work? According to some of the pictures, it looks like they will

Dave, thanks for the help. The ones you located on e-bay look real close. I will probably buy them and give them a try.
The ones I currently have on the bike (80s Univega, converted to fixie) are getting pretty ratty. They are close but not perfect. The difference seems to be the the location and configuration of the internal "lugs" (for lack of a better term). These nest into holes in the lever body and serve to keep the hoods from squirming around when you are out of the saddle torquing on them

I know exactly what you are talking about....I've been on a never ending search for Dura Ace 7401 replacement hoods because the internal lugs are different than the newer 7402 hoods that come up on eBay all the time.. Both are for aero levers and the hoods look identical on the outside but the inside of the hoods are different

Dave, If you ever do find hoods for DA 7401s, please let me know where. I have 7401s on another bike and it is only a matter of time... The last set I found at my LBS. Just by chance, they had one set in stock...
Thanks again.
