Just curious - do you want tubeless without Shimano hubs? Hellbent 11-27-2007, 10:52 AM No I don't have a problem with the shimanon hubs (especially since the new version of this wheelset the 7850 has a much improved hub). I do like the idea of having a set of wheels that gives me the option to try tubeless (at the moment the Hutchinson Fusion 2's are pretty heavy - I suspect due to the bigger carbon bead and the butyl liner). But if tubeless gains in popularity no doubt lighter tires will be available in the future. These wheels get good reviews but I am concerned about the weight. I don't mind weight at the hub so much, but I do mind it at the rim. |
