He's always been non-partisan (the reason he sites is) because he can raise more money for his charities that way, which would be true.
Like Michael Jordan, the Lance brand is worth more, especially retired, if he has no political affiliation.

There’s no reason he couldn’t be a republicrat like our man Arnold out here in California. Then he could spread his legs…excuse me I mean straddle party lines.
