BianchiJoe 11-30-2007, 08:26 AM No, but I like them -- they look kind of similar to the On-One Mary bars that I have on my mountain bike. Very comfortable; I thought about putting them on my Steamroller when I gave up the Mungo moustache bar, but ended up with a simple riser instead. If you find out what they are, please post! Kalukis 11-30-2007, 09:29 AM Good sources of "interesting" bars are Soma - www.somafab.com Harris Cyclery - http://sheldonbrown.com/harris/ -Kalukis FatTireFred 11-30-2007, 09:45 AM Soma - www.somafab.com -Kalukis what's with the 25.4 diameter on all those bars? BianchiJoe 11-30-2007, 10:08 AM I tried ordering a Soma Noah's Arc bar, and they were out of stock for months. Dave Hickey 11-30-2007, 10:14 AM I've tried riser bars, flat bars, midge bars, bull horn bars, and just about everything else and I keep coming back to standard drop road bars... I honestly can't find anything nearly as comfortable.... asterisk 11-30-2007, 10:15 AM The Sparrow bars have popped up on a few bikes lately, they look different enough to give a try. Save them for the IRO's, the Pake's, and the ghetto conversions.:D crumjack 11-30-2007, 02:34 PM Dunno, but the Campy Pista wheels are beautiful... ProsperityRed 12-01-2007, 10:22 PM Dunno, but the Campy Pista wheels are beautiful... damn, those wheels are 1000$ those bars are the kind of things you put on a casual rig, why the tubulars? i dont get it asterisk 12-02-2007, 08:43 AM It's a show bike, doesn't have to make sense. threesportsinone 12-02-2007, 09:08 AM Some of the Origin 8 bars (http://www.origin-8.com/flash/index.swf) are pretty interesting, go to bars then urban. onespeedy 12-03-2007, 07:11 AM thanks for the input, I will try a mary bar flipped over and see how that goes.... the origin8 stuff looks good too |
