Hi all
Ive had all sorts of problems with my bikes with paintwork on carbon bikes.. I have a choice at the moment.
S9 Matta Titanium or Carbon SL
What are people opinions on both these 2 bikes.??
I do triathlons and dont want a TT bike.
Thanks
Rob

I have ridden both and, to be honest, the performance is very similar. The Carbon SL has a stiffer BB which helps when sprinting/climbing. The S9 is slightly more comfortable, but not too noticeably. The Carbon SL will be lighter with a shorter life span, but the S9 will last for as long as you can pedal your feet. I would suggest taking them both for a comparable test ride, then make a decision. Other factors to consider are uncontrollable disasters. If you crash with the Carbon SL, most likely it will crack somewhere, but the S9 will have better chances of surviving. My 2¢

Ive basically had 3 carbon bikes so far in 3 years, all with the same problem of bubbling paintwork.... Im very tempted to goto Titanium beacuse it last so long.....
Im 6ft 4 and have been told this is good for this kind of bike
I had a Luna bike before, is the weight of the luna similar to the s9 matta
