I was just swapping stems around on my CX bike and the new stem puts me a bit lower than before (saddle to handlebar drop). Before I was fairly close to even with my saddle height, now a bit lower. Do most CX'ers run drop on their rigs or no?

I've got about 3" of drop from saddle to the top of my Deda Classic Shallow bars. I ride in the drops on all descents and most of the technical bits, otherwise hoods (with the rare bartop riding on really bumpy grass sections).
