I was watching this bike on eBay:
Ciocc "San Cristobal Replica"
steel (SLX) tubing, charcoal grey paint, chrome lugs, fork & chainstays
Chorus 10 speed group
New Shamal wheels
White saddle & bar tape
The thing was STUNNING. It was a beauty. I didn't bid, I figured it would sell for at least 2 grand, and it was almost too nice looking to ride.
It sold for $900.
For that price, I would've bought it just to hang on my wall. I could probably wait until summer and sell the wheels & parts for 9 bills, and have the frame for free. Maybe in the future I'll just throw some low-ball bids out there and see if I get lucky.
