Great stuff Doc - My right arm is now famous on cycling news thanks to you and the money grabbing backmarker in the 2/3 racer. Perhaps for 2008 we'll need to formalize the feed/preme zones.

I did donate $2 to the cause.

That's right. Another guy kicked in $2 or $3 as well and I think I handed out $9 or so. Not a bad payout. Plus snacks, what can be better than that?

FWIW - I tried a twizzler feed in Portland last week that went over like a lead balloon. Lighten up PDX!

We need some pics of Myette on the kids bike on Sunday! I had fun heckling him...until he got his Zank back and rode away from me...

Can you put the brownie on a stick next time? They are hard to grab when you ride as "fast" as I do.

Not very far away though, you had a good result Sunday despite that sweet crash toward the end of the race Saturday.

i had a sweeter crash on Sunday, on the bark mulch ride up on the last lap. Sooo close to the finish! Ugh. I had attacked thru my group to second wheel during the last lap, as they were all running it (i was riding it each lap). Zipped past the last guy just entering the bark mulch downhill, and then totally messed up the ride up and crashed off the WRONG side of the bike, stepped on my wheel, could not remount "lefty", switch the bike around to the correct side, dropped the chain, put it back on, and then rode the last couple turns to the finish. 31st. Couldn't have been 29th so that I was in the twenties, oh no.

Had I not CHOKED, I would have had 26th, which would have pleased me greatly.

Phew, I feel better talking about it. Been unable to even blog about it...deeply scarred.

I too take lots of photos after my race. I know that we've talked via e-mail before (about the Lowell Race) , were you the taller guy taking the photos all day at the RI races? I think that there were times when you and I were taking pictures side-by-side.

But dont feel bad for not talking to him, cause apparently eyebob is shy in "real life" and only talks to people online....

I think he was literally hiding from me this weekend. But I am an intimidating prescence, I admit.

Oh, seriously though, thank you BOTH for all the great photos! Goes a long way to convincing my wife that I am actually racing bikes on these weekends away.
