$10,200? Yeah, as soon as I would buy it the thing would depreciate about 50%. I don't think these are collector items that will appreciate. I think I'll buy a Madone 4.5 and put the rest of the money in my savings account earning 1.1%

Since I found out about this auction I have showed all my riding friends. While many on the forum have bagged on Tailwind for trying to turn a buck, our collective opinion is "Sweet"! Now, none of us has the extra coin laying around to pick one of these up, but all of us would if we could. It is a great piece of history, is it worth the money, hell I don't know but if money was no object I can think less worthy items to buy.
