Is it normal/acceptable to wear some kind of trim on a jersey to signify a past winner of a state championship? A friend of mine just took the state women's 40+ crit chamionship and we were thinking of getting a club jersey modified.
Thanks,
TF

I've heard of wearing the state champion jersey, but not trim (not that I have a lot of knowledge about any sort of championships ;-) If she just won, doesn't she wear the official state champion jersey, in that discipline, for the next year?
Why would you want to do this? Doesn't this guarantee that she'll be marked in every race, assuming people know what it is?
I've never heard of it. What would the bands or jersey look like? Also, what about the time trial and the road race champs?
In MN you get a medal presented to you at the season ending banquet and that's it other than bragging rights.
