I am in LV for a conference in early December, and would like to come early, rent a better bike than I will ever own, and ride all week-end before the conference. Can anyone suggest a good LBS that could rent a nice road rig, preferably Specialized or some other compact geometry line (my short self is hard to fit on a standard geometry frame).

I'm traveling to Vegas from May 5-11 and would also like to rent a road bike for that one-week time period. Any thoughts on places to rent a bike? Also, any safe routes to get from the UNLV/Airport area to an area where the road goes up? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

decent bikes for rent. I thinks it their Blue Diamond location that you can start from and ride the Red Rock Canyon loop.
