Am moving to Singapore in April and was wondering if anyone out there had any regional cycling (road or mtn) experience/advice to pass on? It looks like ANZA (Australia/New Zealand Assn) has weekly group rides.
Thanks!

I'm from Singapore and regularly ride with the Joyriders, a social bunch that love to ride their bikes (mainly road rides). The group ride up to 6 times a week and can be quite large on weekends. Members consist of both local and expatriates cyclists of all levels.
You can visit their website: www.joyriders.sg for more information or contact Joyce Leong at: mjgriffin@yahoo.com

Hi,
I live in Singapore and it is a great place for cycling. In addition to ANZA there are a number of riding groups out there so finding enough riding opportunities should not be a challenge. The roads are great quality (however the drivers need some work :) ) but in general it is great.
I am currently in Vietnam on a 2 week cycling trip so in addition to Singapore there is plenty of great cycling nearby in the region.
Cheers,
Jeff

Enjoy Singapore...I've spent some time there, but not on a bike. Defiitely check out Sentosa Island and enjoy as many giant prawns and pepper crab as you can ingest at the Newton Food Centre!
Oh, MERLION'S RULE!
